En effet, ces chercheurs ont mis au point un prototype de capteur hyperspectral assez l\u00e9ger pour \u00eatre transport\u00e9 par un drone et ce, \u00e0 une fraction du prix des capteurs conventionnelles.<\/p>\n<p>Un capteur hyperspectral permet d&rsquo;obtenir beaucoup plus d&rsquo;informations qu&rsquo;une cam\u00e9ra traditionnelle. Cela est d\u00fb au fait que chaque pixel d&rsquo;une image capt\u00e9e par\u00a0ce genre de capteur contient\u00a0jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 plusieurs centaines de couleurs du spectre lumineux en comparaison aux trois couleurs d&rsquo;un capteur \u00e9lectro-optique conventionnel. Cependant, ces appareils sophistiqu\u00e9s sont souvent encombrants et peuvent co\u00fbter jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 plusieurs dizaines de milliers de dollars.<\/p>\n<p>En utilisant des composants optiques et des gyroscopes \u00e9lectroniques qui sont maintenant faciles \u00e0 trouver en vente libre, le dernier prototype assembl\u00e9 par les chercheurs norv\u00e9giens\u00a0p\u00e8se moins de 200 g et ne co\u00fbte que 700$. Cela est d\u00fb en grande partie au fait qu&rsquo;il est maintenant possible d&rsquo;imprimer un bo\u00eetier solide et l\u00e9ger sur mesure pour cet assemblage.<\/p>\n<p>Ce prototype est, bien s\u00fbr, moins pr\u00e9cis qu&rsquo;un appareil plus gros et co\u00fbtant plus de dix fois plus cher, mais les performances sont suffisantes pour la cartographie ou pour reconna\u00eetre les diff\u00e9rentes couleurs d&rsquo;une \u00e9tendue d&rsquo;eau le jour. Cette derni\u00e8re fonction peut s&rsquo;av\u00e9rer tr\u00e8s utile pour la surveillance de la prolif\u00e9ration des algues \u00e0 un prix tr\u00e8s abordable.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;impression 3D devenant de plus en plus accessible, il sera de plus en plus commun de voir les professionnels utilisant des drones construire eux-m\u00eames leurs propres charges utiles.
